The School of Startups provides the resources, guidance, and environment to set your business on a path to success. Over 90 hours of immersive, hands-on training and personalised mentorship will equip the selected entrepreneurs for the 2024 edition with the tools to validate and grow their ideas in the market.

This three-month acceleration program supports business ideas in fields like web3, healthcare, arts & design, tourism, environment, energy, space, fintech, artificial intelligence, and more.

Benefits

The selected projects of the 2025 edition will gain access to the UPTEC workspaces, an extensive event network with over 100 yearly events, and a network of investors, industry partners, and entrepreneurs. Benefits include practical workshops covering market analysis, differentiation, marketing, pricing strategy, intellectual property, investment preparation, and pitch training.

Mentors

The School of Startups’ dedicated mentorship programme offers 5 office hours sessions of 1 hour each, both online and in-person. More than 40 experienced mentors will support entrepreneurs throughout the process, guiding them in market research, product development, and business strategy.

With the support of Santander Foundation, UPTEC will award six inclusion scholarships for free access to the School of Startups to underrepresented groups (women entrepreneurs and people of African descent). Beyond that, UPTEC will award two scholarships to projects from creative and cultural field. These scholarships are part of UPTEC’s actions to correct inequalities in entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem access.
